Operation Times

Operation Times is an additional Manufacturing module which puts you in charge of your Manufacturing shop floor operation times. It runs alongside Works Orders.

To run Operation Times

To create a shortcut to Operation Times on your desktop:

  1. In Sage 200, select Tools > Copy Operation Times command.

    This copies the location of the Operation Times program to your clipboard.

  2. Create a new shortcut on your Windows desktop to the program location.
    1. Right-click your Windows desktop, then select New > Shortcut.
    2. Paste the clipboard to the shortcut location; e.g. press Ctrl+V, or right-click and select Paste.
    3. Continue and enter a name for the shortcut, e.g. Operation Times.

Set up Operation Times

Before you run the program, read the section Getting Started with Operation Times.

  • Ensure that users of Operation Times are set up as remote access users in System Administration:
    • Create a remote role.
    • Add the Operation Times user to this role.
    • Ensure that the user has access to the relevant companies in Sage 200 so that they can log onto the Works Order operations.
